Our relationship with our guests is very important to us, therefore UNCOVR is sensitive to protecting your private information. We do, however, want you to have the opportunity to receive useful information about UNCOVR and the related products and services that we feel would be of interest to you.

Each time a user visits our website, certain use and navigation information is collected by our servers. This information is aggregate and anonymous. It gives us information such as the number, frequency and duration of visits to each web page which we use to improve the content and navigation features of our website. A third-party cookie may also be placed on your computer which will collect information about your visit to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. Section 2 - Voluntary Surveys

UNCOVR periodically survey its guests and catalog requesters to find out about their vacation preferences and related travel patterns. We encourage you to complete these surveys because: a) they provide us with information that helps us improve the types of trips we offer; and b) they help us direct specific UNCOVR messages that would be of most interest to you. Your participation in these surveys is always voluntary.


Section 3 - Name, Address, Contact, Survey and Billing Information

UNCOVR shares guests’ personal information with companies who provide services such as information processing, fulfilling guest orders, lead generation, providing pre-/post- and on-trip services, managing and enhancing customer data and conducting customer research or satisfaction surveys. These companies are obligated to protect your information. UNCOVR never sells your personal information to third parties.

If we ask for your personal information for any reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Section 5 - Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law.

Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, UNCOVR will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary: (1) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by UNCOVR, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to enforce the UNCOVR Terms of Service Agreement or to protect our rights; or (3) to protect the safety of members of the public and users of the service. UNCOVR reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of UNCOVR or all of its assets to that successor in interest. Section 6 - Third-Party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.

When you click on links on our website, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.


Section 7 - Payment Information

When you initially provide or update your payment information, we transmit it via an encrypted connection to our Payment Processor, Stripe. Stripe uses and processes your payment information in accordance with Stripe’s Privacy Policy. We don’t store your payment information, other than your zip code and country, which we require for billing and to comply with tax and other government regulations.

Your payment information may also be processed via third party eCommerce Payment Processors, in accordance with such eCommerce Payment Processors’ terms and policies. We transmit your complete payment information when you initially provide or update it, only so that we can pass it along to the appropriate eCommerce Payment Processor.


Section 8 - Squarespace 

Our e-commerce website is hosted on Squarespace. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Squarespace’s data storage, databases and the general Squarespace application. They employ security measures such as using firewalls to protect against intruders, building redundancies throughout their network (so that if one server goes down, another can cover for it) and testing for and protecting against network vulnerabilities. Payment information is transmitted using HTTPS encryption, and they maintain a PCI DSS certification. 


Section 9 - Age of Consent

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.


Section 10 - Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the policy will govern our use of your information and will always be available on this website. If we make a change to this policy, by continuing to access or use this site after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.

If our company is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products and services to you.
